This is a rare Ammolite fossil that is hand wire wrapped in argentium silver. This piece is very special because it is rare that Ammolites show all colors of the color spectrum. All colors are present in this pendant. The Ammolite is naturally the thin opalized shell of the Ammonite so you will see that the cabochon does have a backing and the surface is sealed with resin. These precautions are for the life and durability of the pendant, they do not enhance or change the natural effects in any ways.
